Diana’s beauty rivals that of a china doll. Her skin is pale, almost chalk-white and she has light green eyes which could be mistaken for grey in the right light. Long, black hair falls over her back and is kept out of her face by a silver hairpin. Her hands are delicate and skin soft. Her figure is petite but has curves particularly in the hip and bosom regions. Typically she dresses in semi-formal attire. As a neat freak, she tends to spend a lot of time on hygiene and her appearance in general.

-PERSONALITY-

Diana is very self-sufficient. She holds unrealistically high expectations but yet still has a lot of faith in herself and her abilities. Her thinking process is deep and logical which causes her to overanalyze situations and people. Diana is very organized and systematic; her room is always kept in meticulous order and she keeps to a strict daily routine. It is nearly impossible for her to just sit back and relax. She is always on the move from one project to the next and rarely sits still. Puzzles both with words and numbers intrigue her but she doesn't like "wasting time" in front of the television. She focuses on logic and sometimes has difficulty letting go and just allowing her emotions to make decisions for her. Swimming is one of her greatest passions; she loves being in the water. All the free time she has is spent sneaking off to the beach so she can splash in the waves.

Diana hates failure and is determined to succeed in all her endeavors. To say that she has control issues would be an understatement. Losing control is one of her biggest fears. Diana despises being under the restraint or direction of others. She is very independent and a natural leader and has a deep desire to please others with her efforts. Despite popular belief she is very empathetic and caring under her usually cool demeanor.

Even as a child she was over-flowing with confidence (and possibly conceit). However, she still strives to live up to the family's expectations. Morals, rules and tradition are very important to her sense of well being and stability. Change is something she endures but doesn't particularly like. Diana is very loyal and trustworthy so she expects the same in return. She believes in the best of people and sometimes overlooks flaws a little too often. Diana is easily manipulated by those closest to her as a result of her naivety.

The Rembrandt Family has amassed its wealth over hundreds of years. The family started as the head of a weretiger Pard which disbanded after Alexander Rembrandt brought together many different species to overthrow humanity. The family played a large part in the growth of Dusk Tech, bringing it to its glory and strength of today. The wealth of the family continues to grow as Dusk Tech prospers.

Marcus was ceremoniously married to Amelia in a circumstance much like an arranged marriage. Together they lived a happy life with respect if not love. Soon after they had their first and only son together, Viktor. As the years passed, Marcus kept numerous mistresses and pleasure slaves. It was not uncommon for wealthy men to step outside of the marriage. Eventually his nighttime activities led to a human slave becoming pregnant with his child. The sudden pregnancy of a house slave did not go unnoticed by Mrs. Rembrandt. After questioning Katherine, Amelia learned with dismay that the child was in fact her husband's.

Diana was born as a healthy human child but her mother died after post-childbirth complications. Because her mother was a slave, she also became a slave to the Rembrandt family. Although she was technically a slave, Marcus treated her differently than the rest. Diana was educated by tutors and was never asked to perform any duties beyond that of a normal child. She became fond of the family, especially Marcus who was particularly kind to her. Still, her specific association to the family remained a secret.

Shortly after her seventeenth birthday, Marcus died mysteriously from silver poisoning. Viktor assumed his father's responsibilities at Dusk Tech as the head of Security and also inherited the family estate and all of the slaves. Viktor knew of Marcus' fondness for Diana, but he never suspected their relationship.

Because of her education and familiarity with the family, Viktor put Diana in charge of housekeeping. Even at her young age, Diana's organizational and management skills made her perfect for the job. She kept track of the servants, supplies and cleaning of the manor.
